I finally played The Great Zimbabwe, I have had the game since 2016 so it took me merely 4 years to play it :/. The art of the cards is great, it rally is amazing, however, I know nothing about Ralph Azham.īottom line, Unlock!: Une Aventure – Ralph Azham: Le Foie de l'Axolotl is a good demo adventure and I really enjoyed it even though it is VERY easy to solve but I don't want to spoil anything so I won´t write anything else. It is only available In French which creates an additional difficulty for us, but not an insurmountable one. Unlock!: Une Aventure – Ralph Azham: Le Foie de l'Axolotl is a demo adventure with a 1 star difficulty rating, it is the easiest Unlock! I have played EVER. Kudos to Space Cowboys for not doing this. To me, it is immoral and unethical to create games that are disposable (even more when the designer can easily make them resettable), even if they create a great experience. It isn’t about the money though, I was raised in a third world country and I was always taught that you do not waste if you can avoid it so I loathe legacy style games that destroy or permanently modify the game.

That’s the only reason I bought the whole series of games while I can’t buy The Exit series of games. At least in Space Cowboys´ games you don’t physically destroy the game, thus preserving the resale value. In general, I have a bittersweet feeling about the game, like T.I.M.E Stories, once you played through it, you won’t play it again because you already know the answer so it has zero replay value. I love the Unlock! series of games and Unlock!: Une Aventure – Ralph Azham: Le Foie de l'Axolotl is no exception. Unlock!: Une Aventure – Ralph Azham: Le Foie de l'Axolotl It is a good programming game, much MUCH better than RoboRally for me and much faster as well. I will sell the game (have to make room for the better games) but I liked it and I would play it again if requested.

The luck factor is rather low AND the chaos is much more controllable in this game than other games in the genre.īottom line, Twin Tin Bots was a pleasant surprise.

With more players the game slows down (obviously) but as you can see other player´s programs, you can take a long time to decide the best route adding a lot of downtime. I think Twin Tin Bots is best played by 2 players, with this configuration it is at it most strategic and it plays really fast. There are special orders that are given at the beginning of the game. Planning is key but it isn’t that easy and when a player attacks you, he can execute one movement (his choice).

Each player control 2 robots and each turn you can add, remove or exchange AT MOST 1 order so handling both robots isn’t as easy as they will continue with the previous programming plus the new order/exchange. The goal of the game is to pick up crystal and deliver them back to your base. Gameplay is a lot more interesting that I was expecting. The game´s components are very good but I don’t like the board art that much, it is ok though. The theme wasn’t explained to me or I don’t remember it. Twin Tin Bots´ rules are easy to teach, you can do it under 7 minutes.

It is still not a game for me, but I enjoyed it, it is, perhaps, the best game I have played from designer Philippe Keyaerts although I also kind of like Evo. I (generally) don’t enjoy preprogramed movement games AND pickup and deliver games and Twin Tin Bots has both mechanism in it but I was pleasantly surprised.
